David W. Dieter has over 12 years of experience as a business owner, art director and communication designer. Contracting with designers, advertisers and clients worldwide such as Google, IDEO, The North Face, Interbrand, Budweiser, MTV UK, RELAY, PBS, Discovery, The Los Angeles Times, that's Shanghai, Oral B, MUNI, Comcast, Sega and Intel. He collaborates to create memorable, results-driven brand experiences inspired by human centered design.

David owned an award winning design and strategy company in San Francisco from 2000-2005. As well, he has been a faculty member as a New Media Instructor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Currently, he is based in Shanghai, China and continues to guide and design successful traditional and new media branded projects for emerging and established companies worldwide in the US, Europe and Asia.

Along with being a communications designer, David has a lifetime of art and creative experience. He has held fine art exhibitions around the world displaying his art in the US, Italy, China, and Thailand for collectors and non-profit organizations. His mixed media process includes oil and acrylic painted over canvas collage with calligraphy and found paper. He has been painting since an early age and has displayed his art at the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts as well as the Dashanzi Art District in Beijing and Shanghai Gallery of Art on the Bund. His art history, fine art and design studies include UCLA, UC Irvine and Art Center College of Design.
